The popular Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared made its return in 2019 with the famous Nike Air logo on the heels on the occasion of NBA All-Star Weekend.

This mythical colorway, originally released in 1991 and inspired by that of the Chicago Bulls, features a black suede upper. Infrared red accents and a translucent icy outsole add contrast to Tinker Hatfield's design. Jordan Brand has already reissued the Air Jordan VI Black Infrared several times, in 2000, 2010 and again in 2014. However, the last retro featured an "Infrared 23" hue that was more pink than red. This new reissue is more faithful to the original, much to the delight of model aficionados.
